Everything you need to know about publishing your research with ATLAS
A streamlined approach to getting your research published
Upload your manuscript through our online submission system. Ensure your document follows our formatting guidelines and includes all required sections.
Our editorial team conducts a preliminary assessment to ensure your manuscript aligns with the journal's scope and meets basic quality standards.
Your manuscript is sent to expert reviewers in your field for a thorough, double-blind peer review. Reviewers assess the quality, originality, and significance of your work.
Based on reviewer feedback, you may be asked to revise your manuscript. Address all reviewer comments and resubmit within the specified timeframe.
After reviewing your revised manuscript and responses to reviewers, the editor makes a final decision on acceptance or rejection.
Once accepted, your manuscript goes through copyediting and formatting. You'll receive proofs for final approval before publication.

Yes, you can suggest up to 5 potential reviewers during submission. Please provide their names, affiliations, and email addresses. However, the final selection of reviewers is at the editor's discretion to maintain the integrity of the peer review process.
If your manuscript is rejected, you'll receive detailed feedback from reviewers and the editor. You can use this feedback to improve your manuscript and submit to another journal. We also offer an appeal process if you believe the decision was made in error.
No, simultaneous submission to multiple journals is considered unethical and violates publication standards. You must wait for a decision from one journal before submitting to another.
Page limits vary by journal and article type. Research articles typically have no strict limit but should be concise (usually 6,000-8,000 words). Short communications are limited to 2,000 words. Review articles can be up to 10,000 words. Check the specific journal guidelines for details.
Upon acceptance, you'll receive a copyright transfer agreement (CTA) or license to publish. For open access articles, you retain copyright while granting ATLAS exclusive rights to publish. You'll sign this electronically through our system.
Minor corrections (typos, formatting) can be made during the proofing stage. Significant changes to content after acceptance are generally not permitted. If you discover errors after publication, you can submit a correction or erratum.
